Avijit Das (Chairman of the Board)
Mr Avijit Das is an Indian Citizen who resides in South Africa. Mr Das has over 27 years of industry experience working at various senior executive positions. He qualified as a Mechanical Engineer and started his career in the automobile industry, where he had worked in India and internationally on several operational and strategic projects. From 1990 he was involved with an associate company of AT Kearney as a Change Management Consultant to several multi-national engineering and FMCG Companies. His area of expertise was business strategy, business process re-engineering and organisational excellence. In 1994 he joined Duracell as Group Director International Operations and was responsible for the operations in India, China, South Africa, Korea and Thailand. He played a key role in business turnaround and growth strategies for Duracell in several countries in Asia. He also led several projects at the corporate level focusing on business re-engineering, acquisitions and disinvestments. In 2003 he was involved in a Management buy out (MBO) of Eveready (Pty) Ltd in South Africa and is currently its Managing Director. He is also the Chairman and CEO of Eveready Diversified Products ( Pty ) Ltd, which is in the business of alternative energy manufacturing micro wind turbines in the brand name Kestrel.

John E. Siddall
Mr. John E. Siddall is a British Citizen by birth and currently resides in the US. He has 40 years of experience in a variety of senior executive positions within Gillette / Duracell. He was involved in the original Duracell leverage buy out (LBO) from Kraft Foods. He played a key role within Duracell for expansion of international business and starting up international operations in the Asia Pacific Region. In his last position at Duracell he was responsible for the world wide operations of Duracell and played a key role in organizational transformation towards lean management principles. He retired from Duracell and was involved in a Management Buy Out ( MBO ) of Eveready ( Pty ) Ltd . He is currently the Chairman of Eveready (Pty) Limited South Africa. He has strong links with trade and corporate management.

Peter Lennox
Peter Lennox, is a New Zealand Citizen who resides in South Africa. Mr Lennox has over 18 years of industry experience working in various senior executive positions. He holds a BSC degree in Textile Engineering from Herriot Watt University in Edinburgh, UK and started his career with Johnson & Johnson in the UK. He has held senior management positions with Johnson & Johnson; Price Waterhouse Coopers and later with Duracell in China. In 2001 he took over as Manufacturing Director for Eveready (Pty) Ltd in South Africa. He played a key role in streamlining and improving the organisational and operational processes in Eveready (Pty) Ltd. In 2003 he was involved in the Management buy out (MBO) of Eveready (Pty) Ltd in South Africa and is currently Executive Director, responsible for the export businesses of Eveready (Pty) Ltd.

Vijai N Mathur
Mr. Vijai Mathur, 64 is a qualified Chartered Account, gold medalist in Law and Chartered Secretary. He has over 40 years of senior management experience in the areas of corporate finance, corporate and business laws, foreign investment, green field start up projects and joint ventures.

For over 20 years he was associated with the Gillette Company of USA, as Director Legal and Corporate Affairs on the Board of Gillette India Ltd. During his tenure with Gillette, he led the Indian team and was responsible for new business development and M&A activities of Gillette in India and south Asia in the area of male grooming, batteries, oral care and writing instruments. He led the team responsible for financial and business restructuring of group companies in India, increase in the foreign shareholding of The Gillette Company USA .He has mobilized internal and external resources for Gillette group for India and south Asian countries. During this period he developed and built strong relationships within the industry and industry groups, as also with regulatory and policy makers.

Since 2003, Mr. Mathur has been providing assistance to select clientele and law firms in domestic and cross border acquisitions, entry strategy for foreign ventures in to India, joint ventures, equity placements, and project financing.
