Features
Proprietary vector series for expression in bacterial system Premas Biotech offers a wide range of expression vectors with an array of multiple cloning sites for propagation in E.coli. These bacterial expression vectors allow high level protein expression of the desired recombinant protein in the bacterial expression system.
Proprietary vector series for expression in Yeast system Premas Biotech offers wide range of Yeast expression vectors with inducible and constitutive promoters along with relevant auxotrophic markers for expression in different strains of S. cerevisiae. Both episomal vectors and integrative vectors are available with wide features for expression of desired recombinant protein in Saccharomyeces. Cerevisiae. (A) Episomal Vectors: Episomal plasmid vector containing gene of interest can replicate autonomously due to presence of yeast 2µm plasmid that serves as origin of replication.
(B) Integrative Vectors: Integrative vectors containing gene of interest integrate into host genome by homologous recombination.
Proprietary vector seriesfor expression in Mammalian system Premas Biotech offers wide range of mammalian expression vectors with minimal and constitutive promoters along with relevant antibiotic selection markers for expression of gene of interest. Methods of Mammalian cell Transfection Uptake of the foreign DNA (plasmid) by eukaryotic cells (mammalian cell lines) with the help of cationic lipid molecules is called transfection. (A) Transient Transfection: Transient gene expression is used to express the desired protein (complete expression vector with gene of interest) in short time period like 24-48 h.
(B) Stable Transfection: Stable gene expression is achieved by integration of vector carrying mammalian selective marker into the host genome.
