Business Development Manager

Required Qualification
MSC- MBA/ B.Tech-MBA/ from Tier -I, Tier- II college only

Required Experience
8-15 years of relevant work experience in biotech industry with exposure to international market (must)

Job Description
• Manage a team of 3-5 people.
• Manage and sustain relationship with distributors/ representatives across different continents; US, Eu, Israel, Japan.
• Participate in the growth story at Premas by.
o Building a healthy pipeline (individually and with the team)
o Converting the pipeline into business
o Explore new areas for business and convert them into opportunities.

For achieving this target, the candidate has to do the following:
• Identification, analysis and recommendation of new business opportunities in domestic & international market
• Pitching products and/or services to potential clients.
• Build competitive intelligence landscape (Researching the needs of other companies and learning who makes decisions about purchasing)
• Researching & preparing for conferences, meetings, and industry events; Coordination activities for various exhibitions/conferences: Includes scouting, making arrangements and attending the conferences.
• Representing the organisation in different global conferences.
• Developing quotes and proposals.
• Coordination with customers for agreements like CDA, Service agreements.
• Utilizing platforms like Linkedin for further expansion of client database in existing and new marketspace.
• Support and follow up on day-to-day business enquiries & post contact activities.
• Maintaining robust relationships with existing customers through mail, Phone calls and linkedin etc.

• Development of marketing campaign:
Generation of marketing literature with technical team Generation of e-mailers.
• Conducting seminars at various client sites.
• Tracking & analysis of sales activities.
• Project feasibility assessment with Internal Scientific team.
• Project proposal development.
• Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
• Keeping clients updated and informed about the new developments on the company product.

Please Note: This is an individual contribution role.

Desired Candidate profile:
• Must have experience in proposal development
• Should have developed marketing campaigns in past
• Must have exposure to international market
• Should have excellent analytical skills
• Should have excellent presentation & communication skills (written and verbal)
• Should have sound knowledge of Bio-Pharma Industry
• Should be open to travel
• Proficient in MS Office
